Terms & conditions agreement:
Your use of this website is governed by these terms and conditions. Please take a few minutes to review.
Addison House Furniture reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. For this reason, we encourage you to review these terms and conditions when you purchase products from our website. The agreement also includes the restrictions of individual manufacturers who govern their own policies involving the warranty and return of any of their products. While we have no control over our manufacturers policies, Addison House makes every effort to accurately convey those policies prior to you making your purchase.

Innaccuracy Disclaimer:
There may be information on our website or in our catalogs that contain typographical errors, inaccuraciesm or omissions that may relate to product descriptionsm pricing, and availability. Addison House reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and the change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

Terms of Payment:
In order to process your order, we require a minimum deposit of half of the total purchase amount. Upon delivery of your order, payment (“COD”) shall be made, and the COD amount shall include full payment of the balance due on the items delivered. We reserve the right to request payment seven days prior to delivery. Customer authorizes Addison House to charge deposit and/or balance to credit card account when number is supplied to guarantee contract. In the event any personal check used as payment is returned for insufficient funds or you stop payment on any check, and this is not cured within 30 days of our demand, you agree that Addison House shall be entitled to recover the amount of the check, plus three times the amount of the check (treble damages), costs, attorney fees, all applicable service charges, all bank fees incurred by Addison House, and interest at legal rate. The only acceptable forms of payment are cash, cahsier’s check, money order, Master card, Visa, or Discover. Once your order is placed with us, we begin the procurement process and thereforem we can accept no cancellations. There are NO cancellations, returns or refunds on items purchased from Addison House

Shipping and Processing Fees:
Our shipping and processing charges are intended to compensate our company for the cost of processing your order, handling and packing the products you purchase and delivering them to you.

Additional Fees:
Attorneys’ fees and collections costs, together with the interest at a monthly rate of 1.5% shall be assesed where there is a delinquent balance due to Addison House. Any deviation or amendment of the terms of this agreement shall be requested to be in writing and signed by both parties. Clerical errors are subject to correction at the discretion of Addison house.

Deliveries:
Items will be scheduled for delivery when your entire order is recieved in our warehouse. You shall provide to us written directions and/or a map to your home and any special delivery instruction such as delivery timing permissions. If you can not be present at the time of delivery, you must arrange to have a responsible person available at the time of delivery who is authorized to inspect and accept the delivery. Your hereby accept and acknowledge your sole responsibility, at the time of ordering, for knowledge of the size and dimensions of the merchandise, and further warrant that all such merchandise will fit in the designated room as well as the entrance passages. If delivery to the designated room involved limited maneuverability because of narrow hallsm doorways or stairways, etc., we are not responsible for any damage that could result in attempting placement. You are solely responsible for clearing the designated room and the path leading to it of any obsatcles in advance of the delivery time. Unless notified prior to delivery, our delivery personnel will not be responsible for hanging anything on walls. Addison House shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of a customer’s order resulting in a manufacturing delay or any act of God.
If a scheduled delivery is canceled, refused, or no one is at home to accept it, you agree to paying a re-delivery fee.

Deliveries (cont’d)
If you are unable to schedule a delivery date which falls within 10 days of the date of the completion of your order, we require that you remit the remaining balance due for your order within 10 business days of the completion fo your order. Upong reciept of your remaining balance, we will then store your furniture until you are ready to recieve it ( for up to 3 months from the date of completion of the order). If your failure to accept delivery makes it necessary for us to store your furniture in excess of 3 months, you will be charged $15 per item of merchandise for each month until delivery of your furniture. If you fail to remit payment of the remaining balance within 10 business days, you hereby forfeit all deposits made in connection with the merchandise ordered by you and relinquish Addison House all rights, title, and interest in that merchandise.

Delivery Timing:
Addison House is commited to delivering our customers furniture in the shortest time possible by doing everything we can within our control. Nevertheless, Addison house has no control over the manufacturer’s timeline for production and loading containers or generally over arrivals and dispatch of ships in our ports or other shipping vehicles. Our delivery times are approximately 6 to 16 weeks, subject to these limitations.

Customer pick-ups:
If you choose to pick up your purchased merchandise instead of delivery as otherwise provided herein, you shall transport the merchadise from our premises entirely at your own risk and expense. If you choose to pick up your merchandise you must provide Addison House with 48 hours advance notice in order for it to stage and inspect your order. Any cancellations or rescheduling must be done at least 24 hours in advance; failure to do so may result in a penalty fee for restocking. Addison House reserves the right to coordinate, schedule and change the day of pick-up. You are soley responsible for the transportationm equipmentm and personnel necessary to handle the merchandise appropriately. We recommend that you carefully inspect the merchadise before we release it to you. You will be required to sign a slip which agrees that  the items being retired are in perfect conditions. Any damages or defects reported after a pick-up are the sole responsibility of the customer after Addison House releases the merchandise to you or your authorized agent.

Warranties:
Addison House takes pride in the products and services it offers. While we carefully advise you of the manufacturers reputation, wuality and design, the actual choise and selection is the customers responsibility. Although we can not guarantee the customer’s pleasure in his or her selection, we warrant tht all merchandise will be shipped in a condition that meets standards set by the manufacturer. You hereby accept and acknowledge all responsibility for any limitations of catalog purchasing, includin details and variations in: wood coloring and distressing, fabric and leather color and texture, and construction materials. The manufacturer’s warranty commences when the merchandise is recieved by Addison House. Therefore, it is to your benefit to accept delivery at the earliest available time.

Product and Assembly Saftey:
This website neither designs, manufacturers or ships any of the items sold or offered on this site. Product safety is the sole responsibility of the manufacturer. If you recieved any merchandise that you feel may be a safety hazard to any person in a household including children we suggest that you contact Addison House immediately to try and resolve this matter in the most efficient manner available to us within our control.
Childrens furniture or play items must be used with special care to safety issues and these products must not be used without fully reading the manufacturers instructions & warnings that will be explained by the delivery personnel.

Damages & Returns:
If a manufacturer’s “Return Policy” is not otherwise shown on one of its products, it usually means returns of the products will not be accepted unless damaged. Its is important that each item be carefully and throughly inspected by you or your authorized agent immediately upon delivery. Please be aware that any damages must be noted on the delivery ticket before signing for release. Once you have signed the delivery ticket you are agreeing that all items have been inspected and are in perfect delivery conditions. If you are not available at the time of the delivery and you have authorized an agent to inspect your pieces, please make sure they inspect before signing as well.  If damage or defect is noticed after the delivery is made, you must notify the delivery personnel immediately. If this can be corrected by the delivery personnel, it will be taken care of immediately. If not, you must contact Addison House for further assitance. The claim will be reviewed and processed by Addison House and the manufacturer in a timely manner. If necessary, the items will be returned to Addison House for evaluation with the factory respresentative. If necessary, with reasonable discretion of Addison House and / or the manufacturer, the items will be deluxed, factory repaired or factory replaced, and then re-delivered to you. You will not be charged for this re-delivery unless the items were of normal production quality. Because re-delivery is expensive please return only the individual item that is unacceptable and not any companion pieces. To give your returned item the care and attention it requires, please allow Addison House adequate time to evaluate the problem, coordinate inspection by a factory authorized agent and undertake actual deluxing or repairs. Addison House is responsible for keeping you updated with the status of your claim and estimated time of return.

Color and Textures:
We have done our best to display as accurately as possible the colors of the products shown on this website. However, because the colors you see will depend on your monitor or computer preference, we can not guarantee that the colors display will be accurate.

If you are unsure about a product selection based on color or other characteristics do not hesitate to contact the nearest Addison House retail store for further assitance. Completion of an order constitutes a waver of any claim due to dissatisfaction with the product colors, textures, stains & grains. You are encouraged to review samples of actual fabrics or finishes before ordering. When a manufacturer does not supply samples in advance, and you are unsure of colors and textures, This Website advises that you try and find and then examine a fabric or product at a retail store before ordering online or through This Website.

Shipments with other carriers:
For online customers out of state, you must arrange and schedule shipments to the customer’s delivery address through a third party carrier freight service.
For deliveries by freight carrier, the driver is only responsible for removing your items from the vehicle. The driver is NOT responsible for moving your items any distance from the truck. Items that are shipped via freight service are those that are heavy and or bulky, so it is generally advisable to have someone available to help you move you items inside. Many freight carriers do offer an inside delivery service in which they can assist in moving the items inside a doorway or garage. This does not include moving the items up any stairs, nor does it involve placing the items within your home or office or performing any assembly. An inside delivery can be requested involving additional charges. Freight carriers also offer a service with extra cost called Curb-side delivery this will be performed to avoid any possible damage that may occur while unloading and moving the furniture from the delivery truck to your home. All of our furniture pieces are securely packed using foam, carboard and shrink wrap as they travel directly from the factory.

It would be unfortunate, if the small trip between the delivery truck and your home, the furniture pieces are subject to unecessary damage. Curb side delivery is highly beneficial for the consumer, as the consumer himself can take the effort and time to appropriately manuever the furniture inside the home without any risk of a rushed delivery being preformed by the freight delivery company.

If you choose a third party delivery, neither Addison House nor the manufacturer of your merchandise make any guarantees or assurances that the merchandise, as packed by the third party, will fit through doorways or passages of your home, office, or other delivery destination. Upon reciept of your merchandise by the third party carrier freight servicem all risk of loss or damage is entirely the responsibility of that third party carrier. In addition, Addison house is not responsible for any delays in scheduling or actual delivery of your merchandise once the merchandise has been recieved by the third party carrier or any damages sustained in connection with the furniture delivery and set-up by the third party carrier. It shall be solely the customers responsibility to coordinate any claims for freight damage, repairs or returns with the third party carriers claims department and NOT with Addison House. Any unauthorized returns of merchandise to the manufacturers factory or to Addison House will not be accepted.
Once we ship your furniture- we will e-mail you will all the tracking details. You will be able to track your delivery online.
